How do I use the dpl® Flex Pad?

With the red lights facing the body, simply wrap or lay the pad directly on the skin around the area of the body you want relief. Then, turn the device on. That’s it! The dpl® Flex Pad is cordless—so you can even move around with it on.

The manufacturer’s suggested use is 20 minutes a day. It even comes with an auto shut off function after 20 minutes. The dpl® Flex Pad may be used multiple times per day, with cooling times between sessions. But it’s recommended not to use it more than 3 times per day on the same area.

How long should I charge the dpl® Flex Pad?

The device is fully changed within 4 hours. This will provide 2-3 full 20 minute sessions.

It’s recommended to fully deplete the battery before recharging. Not doing so can cause the battery’s cell memory to shorten resulting in shorter session times when fully charged.

What do the lights indicate on the dpl® Flex Pad?

  • FLASHING “Red” Light – Device is Charging.
  • SOLID “Red” Light – Device is Full Charged.
  • SOLID “Blue” Light – Device is turned ON

How do I clean the dpl® Flex Pad?

  • Turn off the device and unplug it from any power source.
  • Clean the LED lights with an alcohol wipe or damp cloth.
  • Allow the device to completely dry before using.

Where on the body can I use the dpl® Flex Pad?

The dpl® Flex Pad is designed to help relieve occasional aches and pains in common areas of discomfort like the lower back, upper back, shoulders, neck, knees, arms, and legs.

Will the dpl® Flex Pad get too hot for direct contact?

The light therapy device can be laid directly on the skin’s surface. You will feel warmth when using the dpl® Flex Pad, but unlike a heating pad it is working under the skin’s surface to increase circulation and stimulate muscle to temporarily relieve soreness.

Are there any Warnings or Precautions I should be aware of?

  • Do not use the dpl® Flex Pad if your skin is light sensitive or you’re currently using medication that may cause skin sensitivity to light. Doing so may result in photosensitive reaction.
  • If unsure whether your medication cases sensitivity to light, confirm with your physician prior to using the dpl® Flex Pad.
  • Discontinue use immediately if you experienced any sensitivity to using the dpl® Flex Pad.
  • This product contains neoprene. If you have or suspect you have allergies to neoprene, consult your Doctor prior to use.

  • Do not shine the device lights directly into your eyes.
